About me

So here is a little snippet about myself.

I am a freelance chef, English teacher, travel guide, yogi and blogger. I have been living my life like this for the last 14 years, using the same ruck sack and going through countless pairs of Havaianas. Prior to undertaking my job as a full time traveller, i worked for the civil service for 4 years chained to a desk, gazing out of a window and getting square eyes!. It was a huge choice to leave the security of a governmental job and set out to see what the world is all about and has to offer.

These 14 years on the road have been continuous, with a couple of visits back to the UK a year, only for 2 weeks and having a maximum stay in one worldly location of around 5 months. As you could imagine i’ve visited a lot of places around the world, sailed across many oceans and seas and driven thousands of miles across the globe. So i thought after all this time and advice from friends to write a book or memoir, it was the perfect time to start to put pen to paper!!

I love meeting new people as well as helping, discovering hidden little gems, sampling local food which inspires the cooking side of me and understanding cultures and languages. I believe travelling broadens the mind, strengthens the soul and the globe is an education you cannot learn from a textbook.

I hope you all enjoy my content and if you wish to get in touch just pop me a message.

Greetings and namaste!!
